Creative Writing Competition

Welcome to the GCSE Resit Hub Creative Writing Competition designed especially for English GCSE resit students! This is a great opportunity for students to develop their writing skills, while also having the chance to explore their ideas creatively.

Competition Details

  • All English GCSE resit students based in post-16 contexts (FE colleges, sixth form colleges, sixth forms attached to schools etc) in England and Wales are welcome to participate. The theme is ‘Me and My Place’. We have included three sets of suggested lesson activities relating to different aspects of creative writing.
  • These resources/activities are completely optional though. You do not have to use them unless you wish to.

  • Prizes are in the form of vouchers and winners will be announced at an online celebration and prizegiving event on Friday 8th November.
